Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) Inclusive School Award
We are delighted to share that St Thomas’ has been awarded the Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) Inclusive School Award. This is a fantastic achievement and a true reflection of the commitment, warmth and teamwork across our whole school community

- Outstanding support for our diverse community - The school was praised for its immediate and effective language support and for helping every child feel they belong from day one.
- A calm, happy school - Pupils proudly shared that they feel safe, happy and well cared for.
- High-quality learning environments - The assessor noted that every space reflects aspiration, inclusion and success, including our beautiful world map celebrating the diversity of our families.
- Strong teaching and personalised support - Staff adapt learning exceptionally well to meet individual needs.
- Exceptional care for wellbeing - The report highlighted the warmth, trust and care that is felt across the whole staff team.
- Dedicated safeguarding and leadership - Every child is known, valued and supported to thrive.
- A staff team that grows together - Induction, professional development and staff wellbeing were all praised, with a strong team culture and high expectations clearly evident.
- Clear recommendation for the award - The assessor concluded that St Thomas’ fully meets the high standards of the Inclusive School Award.
We are incredibly proud of this achievement. A special thank you to Mrs Conroy, who led this work and has invested a huge amount of time gathering evidence and preparing the application. She has done a wonderful job showcasing all the brilliant things we do to support each other at St Thomas’.
