The School Council Team

The School Council Team act as role models and representatives for their classes. Their role is to share pupil voice, bring new ideas forward and help make positive changes across the school, while promoting our school values and British Values.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Share Our Voice - We listen to our classmates and share their ideas, opinions and concerns in meetings. We support democracy by voting and making fair decisions so everyone feels heard and valued.
  • Bring New Ideas - We think creatively about ways to improve learning, wellbeing and school life. We help make positive changes that benefit everyone.
  • Fundraise for School and Charities - We organise and support fundraising events for school projects and charities, helping us connect with and support the wider community.
  • Work as a Team - We work together respectfully, valuing different viewpoints and showing mutual respect and tolerance for people of all backgrounds and beliefs.
  • Help Make Changes - We work with staff to review what is working well and suggest improvements, understanding the importance of rules and responsibility within our school.
  • Connect with the Community - We support events and initiatives that strengthen links with our local community and encourage pupils to make a positive difference beyond the school gates.
  • Be Role Models - We show kindness, respect, responsibility and pride in our behaviour, attendance and effort, setting a positive example for others every day.
